Lot Selection

As a licensed and experienced real estate agent, Katherine Jones can assist you in selecting the perfect lot for the home you desire.  If you already own a lot or have a desired lot in mind, we can aid you in site analysis for the best positioning and layout of your new home.

Architectural Design

After you have selected your lot, we will work with your architect or provide you with one of our approved architects or designers. We strive to understand and meet your needs, and help you to obtain a home that will fit your lifestyle and budget.

Material Selection

After determining the architectural style of your home, you'll meet with our interior designer.  Katherine will assist with the many interior design selections necessary to complete your home.  She will help you select your cabinets, countertops, flooring, paint, appliances, window coverings, ceiling fans, and fixtures, so you will feel comfortable in your new home. She will also guide you through the selection of your exterior materials such as stone, paint, doors and windows.

Bidding

Once your plans are complete and materials are selected, K2 Custom Homes will competitively bid out your project using only the best trades to ensure the highest quality and value for your home. K2 Custom Homes requires that all trades be licensed, bonded and insured.  We will ensure all work meets current state and federal building codes.

Permitting

K2 Custom Homes will manage the process of getting the architectural plans and engineering submitted through the city for approval and permit acquisition.  Our company will build your home in compliance with all current building codes.

Project Management

Building a home is a long and complicated process. Proper management of the construction process is crucial to the success of the job. A qualified Construction Manager will oversee the scheduling, inspections, and quality control, to ensure your custom home is built with quality while maintaining both the designated timeline and approved budget.
